Spring II group classes are now available for registration. New term begins April 3 - May 23, 2019. 

Online Regional Studies course: The Middle East in Transition: Stalled Uprisings, Failed States, and Regional Conflict.

 

About Center for Education:
For more than 60 years, the Middle East Institute has been offering unique, engaging, and affordable Middle Eastern language instruction in the Washington, D.C. area for students and professionals of all proficiency levels. As a department, we are proud to employ experienced, native-speaking instructors many of whom also teach at D.C. universities and train employees of federal agencies and international organizations. Evening classes meet twice, weekly in a semi-intensive format for a period of 8 weeks. Private instructors provide more intensive and personalized lessons to meet individual student learning goals.

Location and transportation:
All classes are held at 1319 18th Street NW, Washington, DC 20036 located in the Dupont Circle area, accessible by bus and Metro on the Red Line. If coming by Metro, exit at the south end of Dupont Circle station, walk down 18th Street to our building. Street parking in the neighborhood is metered until 6:30 p.m.
